Las Vegas Meet and Greet
I was an honored guest this weekend at a Meet and Greet organized by a hobbyist who posts a lot on TER, MP67. It has been a hectic two days especially as I was up at 4:30 AM yesterday to get into town. My stamina held out pretty well and I even got in a two hour session with a gal I had seen before in Boston who is now a LV resident. Plus I was treated to a wonderful steak dinner and then played two rounds of eight ball and acquitted myself very nicely despite not having picked up a cue stick in the last six years. My mantra was to eat and drink lightly, and love a lot. The first part is not so easy in this town, the second part is easier. I don't gamble much, I've never won anything out here. I do like the life of this city however. Everyone out here treated me royally and I can't thank them enough. I'm just waiting to have some breakfast with my host and then head back to the airport for the dreaded flight back on US Air.
